LG Class, the company’s first metal-clad Android, gets unboxed and previewed

LG Class, the company’s intriguing “premium” metal phone that is set at affordable price, has now received the unboxing treatment in all of its 4K glory. The slim metal 5-incher carries 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, and is covered by 2.5D glass layer that is slightly curved at the edges.

The Class is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, coupled with ۲ GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage space. There’s a 13 MP camera on the back, while on the front the budget phone with premium build has a generous 8 MP selfie camera. As far as connectivity, the LG Class has you covered with LTE bands, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.1.

The handset is pretty compact at 142 x 71.8 x 7.4 mm, with 147 grams of weight, which include the sealed 2050 mAh battery. LG has graced the back with its signature 1W speaker system, for your boombox needs.  The LG Class will hit Korean carriers this month for around $339 without subsidies, but hopefully we will see it outside of LG’s home turf, too. Check out its unboxing video below, and tell us what you think about its chassis design.
